Cocklety How Byre is part of Cocklety How, a converted and extended traditional Lakeland barn that sits at the foot of Catbells, overlooking the fields, woods and fells of the Borrowdale valley. The Byre extension was built in 2000 to the highest standards. The result is a beautiful ground floor cottage that sympathetically blends the original stonework and beams of the old byre with a modern vaulted ceiling extension that curves along the contour of the fellside to make the most of the spectacular views. The cottage is extremely spacious and the fixtures and fittings are of a very high quality, with La-Z-Boy leather arm chairs, solid oak floors and a sound system. Treat yourself to some luxury!

We offer short breaks and full week holidays all year round, with usual arrivals on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays, depending on the accommodation.
