Before you arrive

Getting here

We have directions to Manesty, with or without a car, in the contact section of the website. Please take care if you are using your sat nav as our rural postcode is a mile in diameter! We have a google pin too. Search for Manesty – cottages & glamping. We recommend driving through Keswick and along the B5289 on the east side on Derwentwater.

On arrival

 Arrival time is from 4pm
We will email you before your arrival with instructions about how to find and access your cottage
The balance of the rent for your holiday is due in the week before your arrival

What to bring

 Slippers or indoor footwear
Swimming costume and bathrobe if you are hot tubbing
Kitchen roll; toilet rolls; towels (unless pre-ordered); extra tea towels (we provide one); washing powder for the washing machine.
A torch! In the winter it gets dark early at Manesty and there are no street lights. We provide you with a rechargeable torch but we also advise you to bring your own for any unexpected trips out into the dark.
Your outdoor footwear and clothes – remember there is no such thing as bad weather – just bad clothing!

This is obviously not a definitive list, but rather a few handy hints specific to staying at Manesty. You can find a comprehensive list of everything we provide on our amenities page. Some amenities are specific to the accommodation so you will need to know which place you are staying in when you read this.
