Recently our wood was host to a wave of redstarts and fieldfares who joined the resident blackbirds and thrushes in devouring the rowan berries. They have since moved on to the yellow holly and the red holly is starting to look thin on the trees. It was a spectacular event, although the loss of the colour is to be slightly regretted as we move towards winter. We had a beautiful sky this morning in advance of the coming snow. We look forward to hearing from you to discuss your stay.
