Spring is in full swing here at Manesty, the birds are singing, the grass is growing and we are looking forward to welcoming you all in the coming season. We hope we have finally seen the end of Covid-19 restrictions which we had to have in place for so long. We are back to our old ways with only a few modifications we have found beneficial for both us and our guests. It is interesting how being forced to find new ways of doing things can make you reassess old habits!
We have been working hard over the winter with a new stove in High Seat to replace the open fire with glass doors, and a lot of behind the scenes activity to minimise the impact of the electricity price issues that have affected us all. This is in addition to our normal winter programme of maintenance inside the cottages and in the gardens, including roofing, painting, deep cleaning and much more besides.
