Its nice to be posting about things which are not Covid related! We could not resist sharing these images of our early morning walk up to the snow on Catbells on Wednesday (5th May). So quiet and peaceful, even if unseasonably cold. We have some availability for 2 weeks from today so get in touch if you are looking for a last minute break!
- Setting off looking south to Manesty (just visible through the trees), Castle Crag and the snow capped Borrowdale Fells.
- Derwentwater with the Skiddaw massif and Blencathra with their snowy hats in the distance.
- Looking back down the path to Borrowdale.
- Another view down the path once we had hit the snow.
- View from the snowy hause.
- Another view from the hause.
- And the view from the top.
- Derwentwater, the Skiddaw massif and Blencathra from the top of Catbells.
