Well the eagerly anticipated ‘Roadmap’ is here. Drum roll please…!
Reopening of self catering accommodation will fall into step two, which will happen no earlier than 12th April. Therefore we have changed our current policy for taking bookings and will take bookings for holidays from 12th April onwards. If you make a booking and we do not re-open in time for it you can move your booking to an alternative date within 52 weeks.
Once again, if you are thinking about booking you might like to find out more about our Covid policies and how we offered our guests a comfortable place to stay in 2020. We will review these policies before re-opening in light of any new regulations and information. We take our responsibilities to our guests, to those who help us and to ourselves seriously.
If you require accommodation and are permitted to book under the exceptional circumstances listed by the government please do get in touch and we will do our best to help you.
After some very wet weather last week the sun has some out and we are surrounded by snowdrops and the first daffodils of the year. Before the rain the cold snap gave us a smidgen of weight bearing ice on Derwentwater which we used for some very tight circles of ice skating. And before the ice skating cold snap, we got some sledging in during the two snowy periods!
Fun and games aside we have had the ash tree at the top of High Seat’s drive re-pollarded. Inside we have purchased new crockery for the cottages and are hoping to organise new carpets and new photos for some of the rooms before Easter.
Don’t forget, you can sign up to our newsletter if you would like to be notified when we have more news about our opening date, or if you just want to keep up to date with other Manesty news.
