We had another snowfall on Wednesday night, with the snow line advancing to about half way down Narrow Moor (the fell behind Manesty). A lovely day followed on yesterday (Thursday) with bright sunshine, wonderful clear Alpine conditions on the tops and lovely spring walking at the lower levels. The longer days make exploring more of a treat as the looming concerns over a ‘benighting’ recede. This photo shows a snow covered Skiddaw just as the sun is starting to rise, taken from the road on the way to Keswick.
